The Qatar Cycling Federation, led by President Dr Mohammed bin Jaham al-Kuwari and Secretary-General Eng. Thani Khalifa al-Zaraa, attended the General Assembly of the International Cycling Union (UCI) in Zurich, Switzerland. The meeting focused on the key achievements and efforts made in the world of cycling and the successful hosting of the World Road Cycling Championships by Zurich. Dr al-Kuwari emphasised the significance of the Qatar cycling team’s participation in this global event, highlighting its contribution to the development of Qatari cyclists on the international stage. Meanwhile, Qatari cyclists Fadl al-Khater, Tamim al-Kuwari and Saeed al-Mohannadi concluded their participation in the World Road Cycling Championships in Switzerland, competing in the Individual General and Individual Time Trial races. Tamim competed in the under-23 category, while Saeed participated in the junior category.
