Al Arabi are in third place with six points, while Al Shahania remained in sixth and last place with one point. Al Arabi will next play Al Duhail in the fourth round, while Al Shahania will take on Al Ahli. Meanwhile, Erik Exposito’s 65th-minute goal proved to be decisive as Al Ahli defeated Qatar SC 1-0 at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium. With the result, The Brigadiers, who were without any point following two losses in as many matches, climbed to fourth, while Qatar SC remained in fifth on one point.
