The Public Transport Security Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) Saturday conducted a mock drill at the Industrial Area Bus Station.
The exercise, according to a statement from MoI, was part of the 2024 public transport simulation plan aimed at improving coordination among the participating entities and assessing their readiness and rapid response to collision incidents.
The participants included the General Directorate of Traffic, the Operations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Al Rayyan Security Department, Al Fazaa (Rescue Police), the Central Operations Department, alongside the Ambulance Service from Hamad Medical Corporation and Mowasalat (Karwa).
