A Go Green, Grow Green promotion has been launched at Safari outlets, a statement said. The campaign is rooted in the principles of promoting organic farming and co-existence with the environment.

The promotion was launched at the Safari Mall in Abu Hamour by Safari Group chairman Hamad Dafar al-Ahbabi, managing director Shaheen Backer and other officials.

The promotion features indoor and outdoor plants in different colours and shapes along with various seedlings. Orange, lemon, papaya, aloe vera, banana, drumstick, basil, curry leaves, tomato and coconut seedlings are available in this promotion.

Ornamental plants including anthurium, bonsai, cactus, bamboo sticks, various hanging plants, along with many imported and non-imported varieties, and seeds of all kinds of vegetables and plants are available.

Grow bags, watering cans, garden bench, grass mats, garden hoses, various garden tools, garden fertilisers, potting soil, and various types of stands for planting are available.

"Through this' Go Green, Go Green 'promotion, Safari aims to provide essential seeds, vegetables, tree saplings and other related materials at a very low cost," a statement said.

Customers also have the chance to win 25 MG cars with purchase of QR50 or more, through the newest mega promotion, the Safari Shop and Drive. Six Morris Garages RX8 (2024 models) and 19 MG5 (2024 models) are offered through e-raffle coupon draws. The fourth draw will be held on October 23 at the Safari Hypermarket in Barwa Village.
