Younousse and Tijan enter Joao Pessoa Elite16 quarters

Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan entered quarter-finals of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Joao Pessoa Elite16 in Brazil on Friday. The duo topped the Group D despite having a mixed outing on Friday, winning one and losing the other match. They beat home favourites Gustavo Carvalhaes and Vitor Felipe 21-16, 21-19, but lost to Argentina’s Nicolas Capogrosso and Tomas Capogrosso 21-19, 23-25, 8-15.
