Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital (AAH), the second-largest medical facility run by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), offers the latest groundbreaking innovations and technologies in healthcare.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) during a field trip organised by HMC to inspect the cutting-edge technologies leveraged by AAH, a team of medical practitioners at AAH emphasised that inpatients and outpatients continued to receive a high level of healthcare without disruption during the renovation project period of the hospital.
Acting executive director at AAH, Hussein Ali al-Ishaq, said the hospital had succeeded in modernising numerous medical sections.
The Hamad General Hospital is currently embarking on a renovation project that will result in the closing of some sections.
Al-Ishaq highlighted the hospital's capability to offer the best healthcare services to the public. The hospital capacity includes over 300 beds, he said highlighting that in the past occupancy rates reached between 60% to 65%.
AAH Medical Director Dr Ibrahim Fawzy stressed that there is a significant number of medical practitioners at all medical specialties at the hospital.
The hospital is always geared up to receive cases from various regions state-wide, he said.
Dr Fawzy highlighted that the hospital has world-class medical equipment, alongside critical sections such as radiology, laboratory tests, and medical personnel.
He added there was a high level of co-ordination with Hamad General Hospital regarding all medical cases admitted to AAH, indicating that all essential requirements are provided for patients.
Head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at AAH, Dr Najah al-Junaidi, said the section handles a variety of cases with five to 12 births on daily basis.
She pointed out the delivery rooms are capacious and offer pregnant women a chance to practice required kinetic activities ahead of giving birth, highlighting that all postnatal rooms are single occupancy to provide primary comfort for pregnant women.
Head of the radiology department at AAH, Dr Riham al-Sadiq, said the department offers all diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients.
She emphasised that health services are provided for inpatients, outpatient clinics, and emergencies around-the-clock.
Since the inauguration of the department at AAH, it has been offering over 26 medical testing and minimising the workload on other radiology departments, al-Sadiq said, adding all state-of-the-art equipment, including X-ray and ultrasound chambers are available.
Senior emergency consultant for adults at AAH, Dr Rana al-Sayed, said that since the inauguration of the emergency section at the hospital on October 11, the medical facility has been receiving cases at a rate ranging between 15 and 20.
The hospital is located in Tinbak area between Al Khor and Lusail and positions itself as a premium destination for a wide spectrum of the population in Al Shamal and Doha regions. The medical facility is connected with modern roads and offers multiple parking lots, with bus services to transport individuals from Lusail Red Line Metro available.
