Forty-seven Palestinians were killed and dozens injured, most of them children and women, in Israeli airstrikes on central Gaza.

Health officials reported that 47 martyrs had arrived at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al Balah after strikes targeted multiple homes and areas in Deir Al Balah, Nuseirat, and Al Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources noted that most of the victims were killed in an attack on homes in Nuseirat, where families from other regions had taken refuge. The occupation forces bombed the homes, then struck again as people rushed to assist and assess the damage. Search efforts for missing persons trapped beneath the rubble are still ongoing.

For over a year, the Gaza Strip and its residents have been subjected to a brutal Israeli aggression, causing widespread destruction, famine, and the deaths of numerous children and the elderly, and displaced over 1.9 million Palestinians, marking one of the world's most severe humanitarian catastrophes.
