Taking part in polls of the general referendum on the recent constitutional amendments is considered as taking part in making and shaping the future of the country. The members of the Central Municipal Council (CMC) have stressed that participation in these polls is of utmost important for all the citizens of the country that no single eligible person should miss as it is considered a turning point in the history of the nation.
CMC Chairman Mohamed al-Azba stressed that the citizens of Qatar have always enjoyed prosperity and freedom, and the wise leadership has been keen on further cementing equality and solidarity among the country's citizens. Accordingly, the people should be proud of such rights and be very keen to practice their free right of casting their voice on these positive changes that would guarantee them a much brighter future in their dear country.
CMC Vice-Chairman Mubarak Fareesh al-Salim sees that the polls on the constitutional amendments is a fundamental step in the ongoing progress of the country and it would further boost the concept of citizenship and national allegiance among the people. Taking part at the popular vote is keen to practice such concept besides being symbolic to the true love and duty towards the nation. Voting is considered an investment in fostering the spirit of national unity and sincerity.
CMC member Hassan al-Isshaq said that the voting process is part of enhancing the already strong relationship among the people and their wise leadership. It is part of establishing the supremacy of law and justice, and the free will of the people being involved in such consequential decision.
CMC member Fahd al-Baridi said that participation is an embodiment of the free rights of each citizen to express his or her choice and involving them in the making of the future of their country. He sees that the constitutional amendments have already made Qatar on the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for its citizens that would further reinforce their social cohesion.
CMC member Fahd al-Mulla said that the media has played a key role in raising people's awareness about the key constitutional amendments, and people are now aware about the many positive sides of these. Accordingly, he urged all eligible voters to take part at the process to help in reshaping a better future for the country.
