The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced today that Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 will be a day off for public and private school students coinciding the constitutional amendment referendum.
A ministry circular said the schools' teaching and administrative staff are included in the announcement to boost effective participation in the decision-making process and to facilitate the participation of citizens who have reached the age of 18 in the general referendum on the draft constitutional amendments to the State of Qatar's permanent constitution.
Yet, students of universities and higher education institutions across the country are required to attend their classes. (
