HE President of the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) and President of the Court of Cassation, Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Hassan Al Mohannadi, applauded HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's keenness to engage Qatari citizens in decision-making on constitutional amendments, based on the Shura principle in Islam, and His Highness's keenness to uphold the values of justice and consultation, consolidate the rule of law, and promote equal citizenship in rights and duties.HE Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Hassan Al Mohannadi also praised HH the Amir's call on all citizens aged 18 and over to participate in a general referendum on the constitutional amendments on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 in a decree that reflects a great keenness on strengthening solidarity between the Qatari people and the leader of their journey, and highlights the firm belief in the importance of national unity and social cohesion, and steadfastness in upholding cherished inherited values and enduring national principles.His Excellency underlined that the Qatari people have always risen to the occasion and have proven their high patriotism and loyalty to their wise leadership in all situations the country has gone through.His Excellency praised the great facilities provided by the Ministry of Interior and the General Referendum Committee to enable citizens to cast their votes freely and easily, whether through the committees spread throughout the country or through the Metrash 2 application, which reflects the keenness on citizens' participation, whether inside or outside the country.
