Voter turnout in Constitutional Amendment Referendum reaches 51% by 11:00 : Ministry of Interior
The Ministry of Interior announced that the voter turnout for the constitutional amendment referendum reached 51 percent by 11:00.
The voting process will continue until 19:00. Counting and sorting of votes will begin immediately after the referendum, and the General Referendum Committee will announce the results within 24 hours of the end of the referendum.
The voting process of the referendum began on Tuesday morning through two methods. The first method is direct voting by casting a paper ballot or electronically using iPads, in which voters are required to attend in person at one of the announced polling stations and present their Qatari ID or Digital Qatar ID. The second method is remote voting using the "Metrash2" app, available for citizens both within and outside the country.
