Qatar-based artist Bindu George has donated her painting, ‘Blossoms of Hope’, to the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) in Doha as a gesture of gratitude for the exceptional care her husband, George K Mamootil, received during his treatment at the facility.The artwork symbolises resilience and renewal in the face of adversity.“May this painting serve as a reminder that even in the darkest moments, light finds its way through, renewing strength, courage, and the promise of brighter days ahead,” said Bindu George during the handover ceremony.The expert care by oncologist Dr Mai Mostafa and specialist surgeon Dr Noof al-Naimi played a pivotal role in George Mamootil’s recovery. “Their compassion and skill made all the difference,” the artist told Gulf Times.The painting was received on behalf of the NCCCR by Nayel al-Tarawneh, assistant executive director of Quality & Patient Safety.The artwork now graces the walls of the NCCCR, offering patients and visitors alike a message of strength, hope and brighter days ahead.
