Porsche Centre Doha has launched the new all-electric Macan, Taycan and the new 911 Coupe at an exclusive event at Al Baraha, Msheireb Downtown Doha, a statement said.
Porsche has comprehensively upgraded the iconic 911 sports car of 2024 with a new Carrera GTS, the first road-approved 911 equipped with a super-lightweight performance hybrid system. The newly developed, innovative powertrain system with 3.6 litres displacement delivers a significantly enhanced driving performance. The 911 Carrera GTS Coupé accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h.
Taycan ushered in a new era of e-mobility at the end of 2019 and with just under 150,000 produced since. The new version brings more power, better range, faster acceleration and faster charging times with sharpened looks and a refreshed interior.
"The new all-electric Macan represents the expanding appeal of Porsche to a wider audience. We now have the youngest product line-up in our history and the Macan has played an important role to achieve this,” said Ahed Dawood, brand manager for Porsche Centre Doha, Al Boraq Automobiles Co.
The new Macan SUV, the second generation model coming 10 years after the launch of the original Macan, is debuting as an all-electric range. In combination with Launch Control, the Macan 4 produces up to 300 kW (408 PS) of overboost power, while the Macan Turbo boasts up to 470 kW (639 PS).
The maximum torque is 650 Nm and 1,130 Nm respectively and while the Macan 4 accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h, the Macan Turbo covers the same distance in just 3.3 seconds and tops out at 260 km/h.
