Qatar University (QU) and the National Service Academy (NSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen co-operation in the fields of education, research, and training.
QU president Dr Omar al-Ansari and NSA president Major General Hamad bin Ahmed al-Nuaimi, signed the MoU in the presence of several officials from both institutions. The MoU reflects a shared commitment to exchanging expertise and enhancing institutional capabilities in alignment with mutual interests and to support comprehensive national development. Outlined are several objectives, including the exchange of expertise and information between the two institutions and organising joint conferences, workshops, and lectures to foster scientific and research collaboration and training courses aimed at improving individual competencies and developing the skills of the Qatari community.
The MoU will facilitate the implementation of educational, training, and research programmes aimed at building the capabilities of Qatari youth and contributing to the spread of a culture of volunteerism, a statement added.
