The first edition of Katara Championship for Falcons and Hunting started on Tuesday morning at the arena of Al Gannas Qatari Society at Ras Lafan, and will go on until November 30.
The competitions started with the pre-finals of Al Da'aw (falcons speeding) competitions, where the participating falcons have shown exceptional power and skill. The difference among the winning falcons was measured in fractions of a second. Today, the competition will go on with another round of pre-finals in different categories.
