The death toll from the Israeli raid on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, has risen to 29.
In a statement on Sunday, The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that Israel's airstrike on Sunday on the Basta Al Fawqa area in central Beirut resulted in an updated and non-final death toll of 29 people in addition to 67 injuries.
The ministry indicated that the rubble removal work is still ongoing at the site of the airstrike, in search of dozens of missing persons.
Saturday morning, the Israeli forces bombed the Basta Al Fawqa area in Beirut, killing 20 people and wounding 66 others, according to a non-final toll.
The Israeli entity continues to launch airstrikes on towns and villages in various areas of Lebanon, in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, where the airstrikes resulted in deaths and injuries among Lebanese civilians, forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes.a
