A Qatari Amiri Air Force aircraft arrived Monday at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, carrying medical supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), as part of the air bridge operated by Qatar to support the Lebanese people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The aid was received by Qatar's ambassador to Lebanon Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani and acting director-general of Lebanon’s ministry of public health Fadi Sinan.

Sinan thanked Qatar for its continuous support.

In turn, the ambassador stressed Qatar's commitment to stand by Lebanon to overcome its ordeal.
