Six Palestinians, including three children, were martyred and several others wounded early Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted Al Tabi'een School which is housing displaced people in Gaza City.

Medical sources said that a number of injured people, some in critical condition, were transported to local hospitals.

The school was severely damaged by the attack, the sources said.

The occupation forces had previously committed a horrific massacre at the same school, while the displaced were performing fajr (dawn) prayer, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and injuries.

In the Nuseirat refugee camp, the sources said that a massive explosion resulting from an Israeli demolition operation was heard in the northern part of the camp.

In northern Gaza, occupation forces surrounded a school sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinians. The Israeli military also carried out heavy artillery shelling of other shelters in Beit Lahiya, while airstrikes targeted a residential tower near the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Monday that the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 44,249, with 104,746 others injured since Oct. 7, 2023.

The ministry added that three massacres targeting Palestinian families in Gaza had occurred recently, with 14 martyrs and 108 injuries arriving at hospitals in the past 24 hours.
