Al Nassr FC, in collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) and the Asian Football Confederation, organised a special visit for a group of children living with cancer in Qatar. This initiative reflects the commitment of the organiations to social responsibility and the importance of integrating these children into society and reactivating their roles.This visit marks the second initiative between Al Nassr FC and Qatar Cancer Society, highlighting the club's ongoing relationship with the society in supporting children living with cancer. It also demonstrates the club's continuous engagement with Qatar's local community and commitment to supporting children and their families who face significant challenges due to the disease.The children were warmly welcomed by the Al Nassr players, who interacted with them in an atmosphere filled with hope and support. The players expressed their full support for the children and their families, emphasising the importance of boosting this group's morale and highlighting the role of the community in supporting them and offering hope.During the visit, the club organised interactive sessions with the children, where they exchanged conversations and encouragement which helped raise their spirits and motivate them to continue facing the daily challenges posed by the illness. Additionally, the children received Al Nassr FC jerseys as memorable gifts, adding a touch of joy and happiness for the children and their families. Many photos were also taken with the players, making this visit a special event in the children’s memories and strengthening the bond between sports and society.This initiative is part of the QCS strategy to improve the quality of life for children living with cancer by providing them with psychological and social support and enhancing their participation in society. The society continues its efforts in carrying out awareness programmes and offering continuous financial and psychological support to patients and their families. This visit is also part of a strategic plan to promote the integration of mental and social health for children living with cancer, helping them overcome the challenges they face.Furthermore, QCS manages several sustainable programmes that support patients and their families, including "Our Children are Gold", "Your Smile is Our Life", "I am a Survivor, and I Will Share My Story", 'Together We Can' and support groups. These programmes aim to improve the quality of life for patients.This initiative also represents part of Al Nassr FC’s ongoing efforts to support social causes in the region and enhance sports clubs' role in positively impacting society.
