Katara Cultural Village Foundation Wednesday opened its "Painting from Qatar" exhibition featuring 75 artworks by 68 artists that reflect Qatar's diverse cultural scene.

Themed on Qatar's heritage, its environment, as well as the artists' personal perspectives, the artworks range in their art styles and vibes, giving an exciting glimpse at the art scene in Qatar.

"Painting from Qatar" is part of Katara's endeavour to support local talent by providing a platform that encourages cultural and creative dialogue.

The participating artists stated that such exhibitions help develop the artistic movement in Qatar and strengthen ties between artists, while the exhibition's visitors praised the high quality of the displayed artworks.

A platform where art enthusiasts can explore works that showcase the true spirit of Qatar, the "Painting from Qatar" exhibition will last until December 30 in Building 46 in Katara.
