HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi.
The call dealt with discussing bilateral cooperation and ways to support and enhance them. The two sides discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the latest developments in Syria.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's clear position calling on all parties to engage in dialogue and understanding to end the Syrian crisis in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and Security Council Resolution 2254, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the Syrian people and preserves the unity, sovereignty and independence of their country.
