The Syrian opposition declared Sunday the liberation of Damascus and the overthrow of Bashar Assad's regime.
In a brief statement on Syrian state television, the opposition said that it had freed Damascus, toppled Bashar Al Assad's 24-year rule, and released all prisoners.
The statement urged all Syrian citizens and fighters and to safeguard all properties of the state.
