Six Palestinians, including children and women, were martyred, and several others were injured Sunday in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), five Palestinians were martyred and others injured in an Israeli strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons southwest of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian woman was martyred, and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment near Al-Yarmouk Mosque in Gaza City.
Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 44,664 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 105,976 others, according to preliminary figures. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, with rescue and ambulance teams unable to reach them.
