Qatar and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) strengthened co-operation at Doha Forum, which concluded Sunday, as part of the ongoing collaboration with the UN, and to enhance bilateral co-operation through the UNDP office in Doha.
On the sidelines of the proceedings of the 22nd edition of the Doha Forum, a consultation session took place between HE Sheikha Hanouf bint Abdulrahman al-Thani, director of the International Organisations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Biplove Choudhary, the technical representative and head of the UNDP office in Doha.
During the session, updates on projects and activities between the two parties were reviewed, and it was decided to sign an agreement between Qatar and the UN, represented by the UNDP office, a statement from Doha Forum said.
The agreement comes as part of Qatar's support for the work of the UNDP office in Doha and its efforts to support the mandate of the office.
