Two Palestinians were killed, and others were wounded Sunday after the Israeli occupation army's fighter jets bombarded a group of Palestinians who were gathering at the perimeter of Kamal Edwan hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Palestine's News Agency (WAFA).
WAFA added that the medical facility has been under relentless shelling for more than two months, with the Israeli occupation army intensifying its incursion into multiple areas throughout the northern Gaza governorate, followed by intense bombardment as part of its operations to depopulate the area through eviction and forced displacement.
Last October, the occupation army commenced unprecedented bombing of Jabalia refugee camp and town, along with vast areas in the northern Strip prior to its incursion into those areas in the following day.
Since Oct.7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have been continuing to prosecute ground offensive, airstrikes and attacks from sea in the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of 44,930 Palestinians most of them women and children, in addition to wounding 106,624 others in a preliminary toll, as thousands of victims are trapped under the rubble and scattered on streets with paramedics and rescue personnel being unable to reach them.
