Education Above All (EAA) Foundation announced that it will host the Walk for Education: CSR and Sustainability Fair on Jan 24, in collaboration with the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA).Themed "Help Educate Children", the event aligns with the UN International Day of Education and aims to raise awareness and funds to support EAA's projects providing quality education to vulnerable and marginalised children worldwide.The fair is expected to bring together over 10,000 community members at MIA Park, including school students and representatives of private corporations, featuring three symbolic walks, each led by corporate partners, in addition to football tournaments, cultural shows and workshops on Arabic calligraphy and fine arts.Through the "Buy a Brick and Build a School" campaign, individuals can make donations to help build two schools for underprivileged and vulnerable children in Qatar, while for private companies, the event offers an opportunity to contribute through sponsorship categories ranging from QR5,000 to QR200,000.Director of Communications and Private Sector Partnerships at EAA Foundation, Parintaj Ankleshvria, stated that the Walk for Education Fair exemplifies the power of partnerships in driving quality education and sustainable development, emphasizing that by uniting schools, private corporations, and the broader community, EAA intends to create learning opportunities that empower underprivileged children to realise their potential.The event will dedicate food and beverages kiosks in support of EAA's projects in Qatar, thus underlining the importance of social solidarity in achieving an enduring and positive impact.
