On the occasion of Qatar National Day, Qatar Foundation honours the visionary leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and congratulates the people of Qatar in driving the nation’s progress, media director Aljazi T al-Henzab said.

“This is a journey which Qatar Foundation is itself proud to contribute to. Everything we do is in the service of Qatar and its community – from the world-class education we offer and the breakthroughs we make within our research and innovation hubs, to the opportunities we provide for everyone to embrace lifelong learning and be active citizens within our diverse, open, and welcoming environment of Education City.

“From our unique ecosystem of knowledge, over 17,000 school and university students have graduated, equipped with the skills and mindsets to be future leaders and drivers of change in sectors critical to Qatar – as we can see across our country’s key industries and organisations.

“Through our efforts in the fields of progressive education – at both pre-university and higher education levels – precision health, Artificial Intelligence, and sustainability, we are helping to advance our country’s status as a hub of knowledge and innovation, every day. And from perpetuating our cultural heritage to promoting the value of healthy lifestyles, our programmes and initiatives cultivate a strong, active community rooted in its national identity.

“In 2024, our ecosystem has continued to evolve and expand, with the establishment of Qatar Precision Health Institute and Al-Mujadilah Centre and Mosque for Women. We have opened up new, inclusive sporting pathways that everyone can experience, enjoy, and benefit from. We brought the world together in Doha to discuss the future of families, and the future of global healthcare, and showcased the beauty of vibrancy of the culture and creativity of Arab-Islamic civilisations through Al Ghorrah for Literature and Arts. And the establishment of Education City High School has enhanced our education model, from which over 900 university students and over 700 pre-university education students graduated this year.

“In 2025 – a very special year for Qatar Foundation, as we mark 30 years since our founding by His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. We will continue to meet change and challenges with the same purpose, ambition, and belief in what knowledge makes possible that has always defined our organisation. And we will do this in the name of the great nation of Qatar - and for its people.”
