The Ministry of Labour organised events Monday to mark the Qatar National Day (QND).
The celebration, organised under the auspices of HE the Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri at the Museum of Islamic Art Park, featured diverse cultural and heritage activities, community performances, and special programmes for children, embodying the spirit of national unity and pride in Qatari identity while fostering loyalty and national belonging among all attendees.
The celebration included a national art exhibition featuring photographs of Qatar's heritage, tourist, and cultural landmarks.
A collective mural allowed attendees to express their love for Qatar, while interactive activities for children and youth, workshops to draw the Qatari flag, and cultural and heritage competitions reflected the nation's authentic customs and traditions.
Additionally, interactive activities were organised to share information about the ministry’s initiatives supporting Qatari citizens and children of Qatari women.
The festivities witnessed wide participation and strong engagement from senior officials, ministry staff, labour sector partners, various segments of Qatari society, and expatriate communities.
Expatriate communities participated in a heritage parade, with members of each community wearing traditional costumes while carrying the Qatari flag alongside the flags of their home countries.
