Omani ambassador to Qatar Ammar bin Abdullah bin Sultan al-Busaidi has affirmed that Qatar National Day is a momentous and significant occasion, symbolising the founding of the modern State of Qatar by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani. He emphasised that this occasion reflects the importance of national unity and Qatari identity, while fostering a sense of pride and honour among both Qatari citizens and residents alike.In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of National Day, he said that commemorating this day embodies national solidarity and renews the commitment to continue striving for further progress and prosperity. He affirmed that Qatar has become a global model for transforming challenges into opportunities.The ambassador explained that Qatar plays a pivotal role on both the regional and international stages thanks to its balanced and active foreign policy based on dialogue and constructive engagement. He noted that this approach has positioned Qatar as a key hub for those seeking peace and mediation in international crises.
