His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University, chaired the first meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year 2024/2025, which was held at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made for the fourth meeting of the academic year 2023/2024, then discussed the topics on the agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them, including approving the programs of the Department of Media in the College of Arts and Sciences, which are the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and the Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication.
