Qatar’s second week of January 2025 continues to offer a diverse slate of events, from cultural festivals and theatrical performances to sporting competitions and family-friendly attractions.
Marmi Festival 2025 at Sabkhat Marmi in Sealine will run until February 1, highlighting Qatari falconry and hunting. Daily competitions and cultural shows offer an immersive experience. The 5th Kahraman exhibition, which showcases amber from 14 countries at Katara Hall, ends tomorrow (January 10).
Crime in the City, a theatrical production at U Venue, kicked off Wednesday and runs until January 11. Al Theyaba play at Katara Drama Theatre (January 9-11) presents a powerful mix of drama and emotion.
The Doha Marathon by Ooredoo takes place on January 17 at Hotel Park, offering categories for all skill levels. Mawater hosts an event for car enthusiasts at Sealine (until January 27).
Ras Abrouq offers hot-air ballooning, archery, children’s workshops, roaming acts, and a camel parade.
Sealine Season features desert safaris, monster bus rides, ATVs, horse riding, boat trips, and free sports/children’s activities. Weekends include fishing, stargazing, and Muay Thai. Live performances by Mohammed al-Bakri and Abdulaziz al-Thuehi (January 10) will be followed by a fireworks display.
Al Wakra Safari Zoo at Old Souq Al Wakra (January 1–February 1) offers wildlife encounters, camel rides, and interactive exhibits.
The Winter Market at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North (until February 27) features seasonal food, kids’ activities, and artisanal crafts.
Vibrant live shows and endless fun for children will be at Mall of Qatar throughout January.
