Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez expressed strong confidence in his team's ability to secure a win and claim three points in their upcoming match against Al Shamal on Sunday in Week 12 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Speaking to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 12 match against Al Shamal, Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez said, "We will start the second half of the league, we know that we faced many difficulties with Al Shamal in the first match of the league, we are fully aware that we will face a team that achieves very good results, and has offensive strength and good organization.

"We have experience from the first match with them and we are looking forward to starting the league again with enthusiasm and I believe that the players are ready and excited to return.

"We now know that every match has become more important to get points, if we want to compete for the title, we have a very important match against Al Shamal and we must play at our highest level.

"Of course, a long time has passed without official matches and there were different circumstances for some players, there were players with the national team and they had a different schedule from the players who were working here, now we are all together in the past few days. Certainly our thinking now is towards returning to official competitions."

Al Shamal coach David Racero said, "We worked at Al Sadd for a while and Al Sadd was like our family and we have friends there, but at the same time we are excited for the upcoming match and look forward to achieving the best possible result.

"We realize that facing Al Sadd is difficult in view of the strength of the competitors who include players at the highest level and I consider them one of the best teams in the Qatar league, but we will play to achieve a positive result and collect the three points to continue competing for the best possible positions in the league table.

"We must be prepared to deal with all situations on the field during the match."
