Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, underscored the GCC's keenness to participate in the Asian Financial Forum 2025, which offers numerous opportunities for discussing financial issues and global economic challenges.
During his participation in the opening session of the Asian Financial Forum 2025, in Hong Kong, China, Albudaiwi stated that the GCC General Secretariats participation in this forum comes from its keenness to know about the latest developments in the regional and global financial scene, which can be beneficial for developing and enhancing the financial sector, thereby positively reflecting on their economies.
He added that for the first time, the forum witnesses a special panel discussion dealing with the GCC states, emphasizing that this joint session comes within the continued efforts of the GCC member states and Hong Kong to cooperate and strengthen financial and economic ties in areas of investment and trade between the two sides.
Held from Monday to Tuesday, the forum brings together several ministers, senior officials, policymakers, investors, and businessmen from over 50 countries.
