Qatar News Agency (QNA) held Tuesday a training workshop on journalistic production, part of its training courses offered to enhance employee theoretical and practical skills in journalism and media production.

This effort is part of QNA's work to develop national media competencies.

Facilitated by Dr. Abdalmotalab Makki from Qatar University, the workshop discussed the principles of journalistic production and the role of artificial intelligence in improving the quality and speed of journalistic work. It also covered technologies pertaining to text generation, news verification, and social media content analysis.

Journalistic production is one of the main elements of media work, which involves collecting, editing, and putting together news items to be published across media platforms, with artificial intelligence becoming an essential tool to analyze big data, automate editorial tasks, and providing accurate reports in a short time.
