Vizer, President of the IJF, has been a driving force behind the Federation’s initiatives to promote Judo globally. His vision includes not only the growth of Judo as a competitive sport but also its development as a tool for education and social inclusion.
Max-Hervé George, serving as Chair and a key supporter and participant in the IJF’s initiatives, is dedicated to supporting the sport. His involvement in Judo is driven by his appreciation for the sport’s core values, which align with his principles of integrity, hardwork and respect. Max-Hervé is also founder and CEO of Icona Capital, a global alternative investment fund.
Having played a pivotal role in the success of the Judo competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the efforts to promote and develop judo globally were evident throughout the event. The Paris Games saw top Judokas from around the world compete in a showcase of skill and sportsmanship.
