Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) marked Qatar National Sport Day with a series of engaging activities designed to promote health, wellness, and an active lifestyle.

Through interactive competitions, educational workshop, and exciting rewards, QIB reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of well-being among employees and customers.

As part of the celebrations, QIB employees participated in an online sports and health-themed competition, where they answered a series of questions for a chance to win exclusive fitness vouchers. Additionally, an interactive awareness workshop was held in collaboration with Lite n’ Appetite Diet Center, offering employees valuable insights into the benefits of maintaining a balanced diet while staying active.

The session featured expert-led presentations, free BMI checks, personalised consultations with dietitians, and a curated selection of nutritious food samples. Employees attending the session were also entered into a draw to win exclusive health and fitness prizes.

QIB extended its efforts to encourage customers to prioritise their well-being. Utilising diverse platforms such as social media campaigns and competitions, the bank encouraged customers to engage in interactive activities focused on health and sports. Winners of competitions featuring health and sports-related questions had the chance to win cash prizes worth QR1,000. Furthermore, customers were provided with tips on sustaining a healthy and active lifestyle, serving as a valuable resource for those seeking positive lifestyle changes.

Commenting on the initiatives, Mashaal Abdulaziz al-Derham, assistant general manager and head of Corporate Communications & Quality Assurance at QIB said, “National Sport Day is an opportunity to inspire our employees and customers to prioritise their health.
