QMC chairperson participates in inauguration ceremony of ‘Kuwait, Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025’

HE Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) Chairperson Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer al-Thani participated in the inauguration ceremony of ‘Kuwait, the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025’. HE Sheikh Hamad’s participation in the ceremony at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center came at the invitation of Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Badah al-Mutairi.

HE Sheikh Hamad expressed his pride in participating in the event, noting that such meetings represent an opportunity to enhance bilateral relations between Qatar and Kuwait, especially in the media field, through exchanging ideas and views with al-Mutairi. HE the QMC chairperson added that Kuwait’s organisation of this occasion, through various cultural and media events and programs throughout the year, reflects its pioneering position and long-standing experience in the fields of Arab culture and media, and contributes to strengthening bridges of co-operation and partnerships between various cultural and media sectors at the regional and Arab levels.
