The activities of the 13th Halal Qatar Festival continues to attract considerable participation from livestock owners from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE.

The southern area of Katara saw intense competition in the livestock beauty contest categories and races, including 'Most Beautiful Camel – Elite Category,' 'Most Beautiful Single camel – International,' 'Most Beautiful Young Camel – International,' and 'Most Beautiful Three Young Camels – International,' all amidst an impressive audience turnout.

The festival also showcases traditional industries and handicrafts related to livestock breeding, such as Sadu weaving, spinning, and textile making—arts that represent an important part of the Qatari and the Gulf heritage.

There are activities for children and families, including camel and horse riding, and colouring and handicraft workshops. Visitors also have the chance to taste traditional foods and sweets that reflect the authenticity of the local cuisine. The event concludes on February 24.
