Loyola International School (LIS) hosted its annual sports day 2025, bringing together 920 athletes from both campuses for 72 competitions and drills. The chief guest was E P Abdurahiman, president of Indian Sports Centre and Qatar Indian Association for Sports and Games, and founder president of Indian Pharmacists Association – Qatar. LIS principal Bhavna Sonkamble and managing director Anup Chakravarthy were present. Abdurahiman lit the ceremonial torch and hoisted the school flag. The march past, led by the school’s band squad, was a magnificent display of discipline and co-ordination.
The Sports Captain (boys) administered the oath. The official opening of the meet was marked by the release of doves and balloons into the sky. Students from Grades 5-9 presented dance drills.
