Gallery Five Home unveils its showroom in Qatar with a Guinness World Record Achievement

Gallery Five Home, the pioneering interior solutions platform in the Middle East, has officially inaugurated its showroom at Giardino Mall, The Pearl. This grand opening, executed in collaboration with Lulu Middle East, included an ambitious attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest mammal sculpture.

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change; and Sheikh Abdulaziz H. Al-Thani, alongside esteemed government officials and industry leaders. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Qatar's 12th Guinness World Record: The Largest Plastic Bag Sculpture of a Mammal. This impressive Dugong sculpture, measuring 8.00 meters in length, 4.10 meters in height, and 4.10 meters in width, serves as a powerful symbol of creativity and environmental awareness.

In addition to this significant achievement, the launch featured an exclusive showcase of artistic masterpieces by prominent Qatari artists Ahmed Almaadheed and Muna Al Bader, complemented by a live painting performance from Moroccan artist Aicha Abouhaj. Abouhaj's captivating artwork, inspired by her Hikayat Tales, honors the rich ancestral legacy of Qatari Sadu Art and Moroccan Amazigh tattoos, weaving together narratives of women's stories through intricate patterns of family, unity, and harmony.

Guests enjoyed an exquisite fine dining experience, immersed in an ambiance that beautifully merged with art, culture, and the diverse backgrounds of attendees.
