Fifty One East, 'Qatar’s favourite department store', inaugurated the fifth edition of its annual Jalabiyas & Kaftans Private Exhibition, unveiling the latest Ramadan-themed collections from renowned local and regional design houses.

Held on Level 1 of Fifty One East at Lagoona Mall, the grand opening welcomed distinguished guests and participating designers, in the presence of Fifty One East’s management. The event celebrated creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage with an atmosphere of elegance and artistic flair.

Running until April 5, the exhibition underscores Fifty One East’s commitment to nurturing and promoting local and regional talent by providing designers with a prestigious platform to showcase their artistry, a statement said. With an emphasis on direct engagement, designers were present to personally connect with clients and introduce their latest collections.

This year's edition is a landmark achievement, attracting the highest number of participants to date. A total of 31 designers from Qatar, Algeria, Bahrain, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, and the US are taking part.

The impressive lineup includes: Al Bacarrat, Al Malika, Alyazi Collection, Anfal Abaya, AS Design, Bazzah, Boutique Ayla, Bint Alshaikh, By Roula, Dania Studio, E-Collection, Etoile, Fildor, Gala Design, Hoda Absi, Jana, Keshtaban, Lana, La Palatine, Lorenaa Michèlle, Lovah, Lusso Di S, Madame Dentelle, Mijade, Pankaj & Nidhi, Pearls Couture, Sckali Design, Solo Perti, Style Alsharq, The Belle Line Boutique, and YS 80.

The curated collection showcases an array of abayas, kaftans, and jalabiyas, with a focus on intricately embroidered designs that blend traditional charm with contemporary aesthetics. Exuding timeless elegance, these Ramadan-ready ensembles present a vibrant spectrum of colours, patterns, and innovative styles, a statement said.
