An exhibition titled 'The Surfing Journey is here' by Salvadoran artist Annette Handal was inaugurated at Katara Cultural Village Sunday.
Katara general manager Prof Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti inaugurated the exhibition, in the presence of El Salvador's ambassador Milton Eduardo Omana Acevedo.
The exhibition, organised by Katara in collaboration with the Embassy of El Salvador in Qatar, will continue until February 28 behind Building 16. Showcased is a collection of paintings through which the artist explores the experience of surfing as part of El Salvador’s cultural and natural heritage.
