With children and young people spending more time online, raising awareness about digital threats has never been more urgent. That’s why Cyber Education, a core pillar of Cybertech Hub by incubou, was created by Thiago Vieira, a Forensic and Digital Law expert. His journey began in Brazil, where he volunteered in schools teaching children how to navigate the internet safely. After moving to Portugal, he connected with the startup ecosystem and expanded this mission.
Through gamified learning, Cyber Education teaches privacy, online scams, and digital safety in an engaging way. To scale its impact, Cybertech Hub is certifying teachers, student pairs, and community members to bring this knowledge to their schools and local communities.
Beyond Portugal and Brazil, the initiative aims to expand into new markets like the Middle East. It is also launching a cybersecurity academy to train individuals in just eight months, creating career opportunities. For young professionals, Cybercamps and Cyberhackathons offer hands-on experience, industry connections, and visibility with global companies.
More than education, Cybertech Hub is building a future where digital security is accessible to all, fostering inclusion, employability, and innovation.
