The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against Israeli occupation plans to seize land in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement on Friday, the ministry condemned Israeli occupation's seizure of land belonging to the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, under the pretext of military use, as well as the confiscation of areas in Nablus Governorate.
The ministry also denounced the ongoing escalation of violent settler attacks against Palestinian citizens and their land and property.
It stressed that the ruling Israeli right-wing government continues to accelerate land seizures, deepen colonial expansion, and implement severe forms of ethnic cleansing against Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and Area C. These areas are being allocated as strategic depth for colonial settlements in blatant defiance of relevant United Nations resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334.

The aim, the ministry noted, is to impose profound changes to the historical, political, legal, and demographic reality of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state and undermining the two-state solution. The statement further accused Israel of pursuing an official policy designed to escalate tensions in the West Bank, creating conditions conducive to the displacement of Palestinian residents.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called for international demands and warnings regarding the dangers of settlement expansion and settler violence to be translated into tangible international sanctions against Israel. Such measures, it argued, should compel Israel to halt land seizures and settlement activities while curbing settler terrorism. The ministry emphasized that if the international community genuinely seeks to uphold the two-state solution, it must take decisive action to prevent further Israeli violations.
