The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change's Wildlife Protection Department has carried out a large-scale cleaning campaign in several wild meadows and wilderness areas across the country.
This initiative is part of an ongoing project aimed at removing waste and rehabilitating these areas to preserve the environment and protect its natural components.
The campaign covered Rawdat Aba Al-Salil in the Barakat Al-Awamer area in the south, Rawdat Al-Maida north of Al-Ghwairiya in the north, and Rawdat Al-Naaman. The effort resulted in the removal of large quantities of solid and plastic waste, along with other materials that harm the ecosystem and mar the natural beauty of these wilderness areas.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to continue such cleaning campaigns in various wild areas and urged visitors to maintain cleanliness by disposing of waste in the designated areas to protect the environment and promote sustainability.
The ministry urged the public to report any violations by contacting the hotline 16066, stressing that all reports are taken seriously and addressed immediately.
