The kindergarten (KG) section of MES Indian School organised an event to bring the essence of Ramadan to life for its young students. The event saw enthusiastic participation with the children dressed in traditional attire — girls in hijabs and boys in prayer caps. The highlight of the event was the soulful Azaan, delivered by Adam Ahmad of KG2. Before opening their fast, a 'dua' was made, teaching the children the significance of prayer and gratitude during Ramadan. Following the Azaan, the principal Dr Hameeda Kadar along with the section head, Deepti Rawat distributed dates to the students, allowing them to symbolically break their fast. The children also brought fruits and dates from home, shared them with their classmates and learned the importance of generosity and togetherness during Ramadan.
