The Asian Nuts and Dried Fruits Exhibition, organised by the Celebrations Committee of the Private Engineering Office (PEO), is open at Souq Waqif.

The inaugural exhibition, according to an official statement from the PEO, features sellers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran and Turkiye.

Forty companies from these countries, which are known for producing the finest types of nuts and dried fruits, are offering high quality products at the exhibition.

To run until March 10 at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif, the exhibition is held daily from 7.30pm to 12 midnight.

“We are pleased to allocate this exhibition,” said exhibition general supervisor Khalid Saif al-Suwaidi. “It brings together a selection of specialised companies from the most prominent products, nuts and dried fruits.”

“We chose this time due to the increasing demand for these products during the holy month of Ramadan,” he said. “We look forward to receiving visitors to Souq Waqif, which has become a new Ramadan thanks to the shopping experience and these unique products.”

The exhibition acts as a unique platform to showcase the finest nuts and dried fruits from Asian countries.

Souq Waqif enhances the exhibition’s appeal, given the market’s heritage character that attracts visitors from all walks of life.

“We invite everyone to attend this unique opportunity to discover a wide range of nuts and dried fruits that come to you from producers around the world,” al-Suwaidi said.
