The Shura Council held its regular weekly session today, in the "Tamim bin Hamad Hall" at the Council's headquarters, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Council.

At the beginning of the session, the Council praised the participation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, "may God protect and preserve him", with his brothers, Their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, the leaders of the sisterly Arab countries, in the work of the extraordinary Arab Summit held last Tuesday in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, noting that it came at a very important time to discuss the serious developments facing the Palestinian issue.
