Qatar under-23 football team head coach Ildio Vale has announced the 29-player squad for the upcoming International U-23 Friendly Championship, set to take place in Doha from March 19 to 25. The tournament will feature teams from Croatia, Egypt, Thailand, Australia, and the UAE, and is part of Qatar’s preparation for the U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled for September 2025.
The Qatari team will kick off an internal training camp from March 12 to 25, with daily sessions leading up to the tournament’s opening on March 19.
This championship marks an important milestone in the team’s preparations for their upcoming challenges in the U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.
