The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by the Family Empowerment Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality, organised the 'Children's Street' project as part of the 'From the Homeland' initiative. Held in Abu Dhalouf City, the event aimed to empower entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase their products and strengthen their presence in local markets.
The initiative fostered greater engagement between project owners and the public, spotlighting national products and encouraging consumer support. It featured five diverse projects, including traditional Qatari cuisine, souvenirs, perfumes, and other locally made products, all of which were met with enthusiastic reception from attendees.
Director of the Family Empowerment Department at MSDF, Fatima al-Nuaimi underscored the ministry's commitment to supporting national projects by creating a sustainable environment that enables entrepreneurs to market their products in strategic locations and at local festivals. She emphasized the importance of equipping business owners with the necessary skills to adapt to market demands and ensure long-term success.
This initiative aligns with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which seeks to build a cohesive and prosperous society, promote sustainable development, and enhance the role of national enterprises in driving economic growth.
